2/2/2012-A New Character  It's not everyday I introduce a new character here on the website. Sometimes people hang around here for quite a long time, hoping to make the cut, before I ever get around to adding them to the official roster. Which brings me to the point of today's update. After having her around since last spring, and putting up with untold nonsense, I'd like to introduce Jasmine the Deckhand. She specializes in lassoing cleats, hatred, and lunch. For years lunch has been particular area of expertise, and it's a bit of a stretch for me to have to share the glory. So far it's all working out though. Anyway, here's a photo I took of her yesterday. She'd just finished lassoing a bollard at the docks, and she moved on to hating me without missing a beat. If you look closely you can see her laser-hate-eyes. Don't look directly at them for too long, it might affect you poorly
